February 26, 2014:
Hello snow-bound students! We had a feeling that you may be bored and needed something to do. Well, to honor that, and keep us up-ish on pacing, we are posting a few items today and tomorrow (if school is cancelled again) that will be due when we return to class.
a. The intention is that this is a timed DBQ. You will set a phone or timer to 1 hour. That time is for BOTH planning and writing
b. The essay will be handwritten
c. You may NOT use notes/internet/etc.
d. You will be printing and signing an honor code statement to be turned in with your essay. No essay will be accepted without it. You
will also be doing a self-assessment on your essay. All documents will be posted tomorrow morning.
Hello snow-bound students! We had a feeling that you may be bored and needed something to do. Well, to honor that, and keep us up-ish on pacing, we are posting a few items today and tomorrow (if school is cancelled again) that will be due when we return to class.
- If you scroll down you will see "Snow Assignments". Please read/annotate/learn the knowledge in the notes and complete the chart. Because of the lost days, you will be responsible for this information, but we will be happy to answer questions for you along the way. You may also find it helpful to use the internet to supplement your learning and knowledge base.
- Vocab 7B & 7C are posted. Be sure you are keeping up with your reading logs and vocab! And, be sure you are also addressing the significance in your vocab. Many are loosing credit for this!

- Tomorrow we will be posting the DBQ (again...if we're not in class). It is imperative that we write a few essays under the time constraints necessary for the AP Exam and we are asking that you impose these on yourself. Here are a couple rules:
